WILDERNESS IS THE STRONGEST AND MOST REINFORCED TENT AVAILABLE

 WILDERNESS WALL TENT STANDARD FEATURES

$200 worth of free options for some other tent companies.

  • FREE BACK DOOR OR BACK WINDOW.  Free back door or back window, your choice. $50 free feature.
  • FREE DOUBLE LAYER OF CANVAS ON RIDGE.  Significantly reinforces ridge. Some tent companies charge $75 to $200 for this feature. Very necessary when using lodge pole frames.  Tent roof will tear or rip easily if lodge pole is not smooth when pole is being pushed through the ridge pole openings.
  • FREE STORM FLAP/COLORADO DOOR. 8" storm flap with buckle protects front & back door zippers.  Helps keeps out the wind. A $45 to $60 option on some tents.
  • FREE REINFORCED EAVE WITH WEBBING ENTIRE LENGTH OF EAVE.  Much stronger than eaves with no reinforcement.

  • FREE STEEL D RINGS SEWN INTO WEBBING.  Much stronger than tents with metal grommets pressed into canvas eaves.

  • STOVE JACK OPENING. 5 1/2 inches. 6 inch available by cutting out just before stitched 6 inch pattern. Most stoves require a 5 1/2 inch hole otherwise there is too much stove pipe slack causing the pipe to move excessively during windy conditions.  Stove jack is located in the roof in the front left corner of your tent - 30" from the front door and 30" from the top of the sidewall.

  • VINYL SOD CLOTH. 10" vinyl sod cloth sewn onto bottom of the wall.  Acts as an air seal and keeps canvas off the ground.  Prevents water wicking up the canvas walls.

  • TENT BAG. Some companies charge $35 for a tent bag.  Rolled up inside of tent.

  • RIDGE OPENINGS FOR LODGE POLE.  Flaps seal openings when lodge pole not used.

  • FRONT ZIPPERED DOOR, YKK #10. The highest quality heavy duty zipper made.

  • 200 FEET OF ROPE AND 20 TENSIONERS are rolled up inside tent.
  • 5' SIDEWALLS - provide much more headroom. Not 4' 8" like some tents. 6' Sidewalls also available as an upgrade. Walls are measured from the outside of tent.
        • WALLS ARE FULL 5' OF CANVAS. Some unusual designed tents have only 4' walls with 18" of vinyl sewn onto the bottom of the tent.  The 18" sod cloth cannot be staked down properly and wind blows under the sod cloth creating a tent that is difficult to heat in cold weather. Additionally, the sod cloth will flap in the wind making for a less than an enjoyable camping experience.
        • Tents must have the canvas walls touching the ground in order to stake the walls to the ground to prevent wind blowing under the tent walls.
        • Windows are 30" x 30" and have screens.  Not small triangle windows that provide much less ventilation.

WILDERNESS TENTS ARE THE STRONGEST AND MOST REINFORCED TENTS AVAILABLE. Double layer of canvas on ridge. Eaves reinforced with webbing.  Steel D rings on eaves instead of grommets. NO OTHER CANVAS TENT HAS THIS ADDITIONAL REINFORCEMENT.

     6'  SIDE WALL OPTION

6' side walls provide much more headroom and usable tent space.  6' walls allows a person to get next to a wall without hitting your head against rafters or canvas roof.

Some companies only have 4'7" sidewalls which severely restricts how much space you can actually use.

Strongly recommend you ask your suppliers the finished height of side walls before purchasing so you will not be surprised or disappointed upon delivery.

6' option only available on FIRE, water and mildew treated tents.

WILDERNESS CANVAS IS ARMY DUCK- DOUBLE FILL. The highest quality canvas made. Canvas is made by weaving threads together, crosswise and lengthwise. The Army Duck canvas has 2 threads twisted together making 1 thread. These double twisted threads are woven into the canvas going both crosswise and lengthwise. Twisting 2 threads together into 1 makes Army Duck canvas stronger more durable and also allows the canvas to breathe better.  A 10.1 oz Army Duck wall tents are just as strong as a 12 oz Dual Fill.

Recommend you read TENT SET UP LOCATIONS before you set up your tent to avoid wind issues that can destroy your tent.

FIRE RESISTANT CANVAS: Meets CPAI 84 fire retardant code. If a tent is not specifically treated for fire resistance it will burn quickly. Fire Resistant canvas will only burn when there is a flame source present on the canvas. When you remove the flame source the wall tent will stop burning. However, there is no wall tent made that will not burn.

PHOTOS - Use arrow (<  >) on photos to view all pictures.  Second picture is ANGLE KIT DIAGRAM.   I suggest you view angle kit diagram for better understanding of angle kits.

    FLY IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

A fly is a special tarp that extends the life expectancy of your tent. Also, there are thousands of needle holes in your tent and occasionally a needle hole does not close when the tent is wetted down. The only way to insure your tent does not leak is to put a fly on your tent.

I price my fly's approximately 25-50% below my competitors to encourage  individuals to use a fly to protect their tent roof.  Rich

EVERY MONTH WE GET CALLS FROM CUSTOMERS WHO BUY A FLY AFTER USING THEIR TENT.  Normally customers have spark holes in their tent roof.  Or dirt, pitch and tar on their roof that won't come off.  Or the canvas is deteriorating from UV exposure. A fly is strongly recommend at the time of purchase to avoid possible roof issues.  And most importantly, a fly will extend the life expectancy of your tent.  Rich

RECOMMENDATION: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR TENT ROOF AND FLY TAUT SO WATER CAN QUICKLY BE REMOVED FROM YOUR TENT.  Water can collect on the roof in an "eave trough" which is  a low area just before the sidewall created by a not tight roof or loose fly.

Canvas should be very taut on a tent frame, especially, if set up for extended periods of time and a fly always used.  Fly should also be tight to avoid water in an eave trough.  Water will eventually go through the fly if saturated for weeks.  Canvas saturated in water will rot and mildew regardless of water mildew protection applied. There is no warranty for eave rot.

    FLY ADVANTAGES - SUMMARY

SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES LIFE OF TENT BY PROTECTING ROOF.  The roof is the first part of a tent that fails.

Prevents stove spark burn holes in roof. It is much easier and cheaper to replace a fly, if necessary, than a tent.

Provides another moisture barrier to prevent leaks.

Protects the cotton canvas from UV rays.  Put a cotton shirt outside during the summer and see how UV rays destroys the cotton.

Keeps roof clean. When camping under a tree, a tree rains down dirt during rain storms.

Prevents pitch and tar getting on the roof.  Removing tree pitch and tar requires a harsh detergent which destroys the roof water, mildew and fire treatment. Then you will have leaks in your roof.

Fly provides 1 foot overhang on each side of tent carrying water and snow 1 foot away from side wall.

Water and snow slide off fly quicker than canvas roof as the fly is completely smooth.

Provides some insulation value when there is an air gap between fly and roof.

When you receive your tent, set it up, and completely wet it down.  Especially on the seams, both inside and outside seams on your tent. Wetting down your tent will cause the canvas to shrink and help close the thousands of needle holes in your tent.

STATES THAT REQUIRE FIRE TREATED CANVAS TENTS: CA, LA, MI, MA, MN, NJ and NY.

Click SLEEPING CAPACITY for each size of tent.  It is sometimes difficult to determine the correct size required and hopefully sleeping capacity info page will be of some assistance.

    TENTS ON PLATFORMS

I strongly recommend you read my recommendations regarding placing wall tents on a platform, click platforms.

I strongly recommend (click) tent frame leg supports on platforms which are screwed onto the platform. Wood platforms are smooth surfaces compared to the ground.   You don't want to have tent frame legs slide off a platform during high winds.

ANGLE KITS available ( diagram of angle kit above in photo section)

Click angle kits for information on angle kits and how to easily build a frame in 60-90 minutes using steel conduit available at all hardware stores. $200-$400 savings dependent on size of tent purchased.

Leaving a tent set up for extended periods of time. Water can collect on the roof in an "eave trough".  The trough is the area at the bottom of roof just before the side horizontal tent frame poles. Canvas should be very tight on frame if set up for extended periods of time and a fly used.  Fly should also be tight to avoid water and snow in an eave trough.  Canvas saturated in water will rot and mildew regardless of water mildew protection applied. There is no warranty for eave rot.

    WILDERNESS TENT OPTIONS

STANDARD FLY covers the entire roof and has a 1 foot overhang on each side to force any rain or snow 1 foot away from the roof. Stove jack area cut out and reinforced with webbing to match stove pipe opening in tent. Clear poly material - 100% UV protection. Fly has center ridge grommets on each end and grommets along sides. Includes ropes, tensioners.

EXTENDED FLY i an 8¹ extension to the front of a normal fly. Provides a covered area for storage, a shaded area or rain barrier if you want to sit outside during inclement weather.

VINYL EAVE CORNERS are designed to cut a slit in the vinyl to continue your tent frame through the vinyl and then connect to your extended fly or porch o cook shack frame. Cutting through canvas corners on normal tent is not advised as the canvas will continue to fray after being cut.  It is recommended to order vinyl eave corners If you ever might have a awning, porch, cook shack or an extended fly.

FLOOR: 18 oz vinyl. Most other tent companies only have a 12 oz vinyl. Our vinyl is 50% thicker. Loose vinyl floor. Grommets at corners for staking. Floor does not have a cut out area for stove. It is best to have a continuous floor to keep bugs and water out when using your stove. Insure you put a non-flammable material under stove. We have fireproof mats available for $35.

SEWN IN SCREEN DOOR: Screen covers the entire width of the tent. Some companies only provide a 5-6¹ wide screen area. Zippered with ties to tie back screen door when not needed.

ALL CANVAS IS MADE OVERSEAS. Has been for the last 20-30 years. Some companies will try to imply their tent canvas is made in the US. That is just not accurate. I would be very careful in dealing with any company that states or implies their canvas is made in the US.

PLAN FOR A TENT STOVE TAKING UP 7' OF SPACE ALONG A WALL.  This includes stove and heat standoff distances from front wall and to a cot.

PURCHASING TENT FRAME ANGLE KITS and then purchasing 1 inch inside diameter, thin walled, electrical conduit at a local hardware store is the most economical approach to purchasing an internal frame.  Frame shipping charges are very high due.  Typical frame savings using an angle kit to make a 12x14 internal frame, including shipping, is $250. Only tool required is a metal cutting tool such as a hacksaw or pipe cutter or Sawzall or chop saw etc. Basically, any tool you have that cuts metal will work.

Click FRAME KIT tab at main menu bar at top of page for detailed information on making your own frame from steel conduit.

CANVAS TREATMENTS AVAILABLE. (1) Water and mildew only, marine grade/boatshrunk or  (2) FIRE, Water and mildew , marine grade/boatshrunk.

Fire, water, and mildew treated tent is the most popular tents we sell.

I tell customers that fire treatment is a form of insurance for your tent. It is vey difficult to burn down a fire treated tent as there has to be a continuous flame/heat source for a fire treated canvas to burn. I guess the best advice I have is to buy the tent/treatment that stays within your budget and meets your requirements.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF THE 3 WATER MILDEW TREATMENTS, sunforger, paraffin, and marine grade/boatshrunk.

I sell different models of tents with each of the 3 water mildew treatments.
After selling thousands of tents, I believe there is no advantage of  one treatment being better than the others.  All water mildew treatments works great.

Some companies claim a specific treatment is better than the others.  And that somehow a water and mildew treatment makes the canvas stronger.
Saying one water mildew treatment is better is like saying a Ford is a better pick up than a Chevy or a Dodge. It is just personal preference.
Companies that say their type of treatment is better only sell  that type of water mildew treatment.  So naturally, salesmen will tell you their type of treatment is best.

My approach, if you have quality canvas - treated with any of 3 water mildew treatments - the end result will be quality canvas, regardless of which treatment is applied.
I suggest you watch our canvas strength video where I attach a rope to a D ring on the eave and stand on it to demonstrates how strong our canvas is.

MOST WILDERNESS TENTS SIZES IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP. No sales tax and free shipping. Idaho residents must pay sales tax. I GUARANTEE THE ABOVE ITEMS WILL SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AS LONG AS YOU TELL ME YOU ARE IN A RUSH WHEN YOU ORDER. Sometimes these items can ship the same day ordered if the order is received before 11:00 am Pacific time.

DETERMINING WHICH CANVAS TENTS & SIZE TO BUY: The amount of square footage in a tent increases tremendously when going up one size. Insure you buy the size that fully meets your requirements. Compare the price difference % between the 2 sizes of canvas tents you are considering vs the % increase in square footage gained by purchasing the larger size.  The purchase price % increase will be significantly less than the % square footage increase.

Stove area requirement in a tent must be considered in all sizes of tents: You must plan on a stove taking up to 7 feet along a wall in all family camping tents. There is an automatic 2 + feet standoff from the front wall due to the stove jack location. The stove itself is normally around 2 feet in length. There is normally a 3 feet heat standoff distance from the stove before you can place a cot or table.

If you have trouble selecting between 2 different tent sizes, chalk out the different sizes on your driveway and then chalk out stove cots, table and any storage area.  Chalk out both sizes of tents side by side to see the significant difference between the two sizes.

Hopefully, chalking tent sizes will help you make a decision. One more note, I have never heard anyone say they wish they had purchased a smaller tent. The tent area fills up very quickly with all your cots, gear and stove.

TENT SIZE COMPARISON IN SQUARE FEET

    a. A 10x12 (120 square feet) is 50% larger than a 8x10 (80 square feet)
    b. A 12x14 (168 square feet) is 40% larger than a 10x12 (120 square feet)
    c. A 14x16 (224 square feet) is 33% larger than a 12x14 (168 square feet)
    d. A 16x20 (320 square feet) is 42% larger than a 14x16 (224 square feet)
    e. A 16x24 (384 square feet) is 20% larger than a 16x20 (320 square feet)

STOVE PIPE ABOVE RIDGE OF TENT: It is best to have your stove pipe long enough to extend at least 6 -12 inches or more above the tent ridge. Having the stove pipe above the tent ridge allows the wind coming from any direction to blow sparks away the tent roof thus reducing the possibility of spark holes being burnt in the roof.

If possible, try to position your canvas tent so the stove jack side is downwind from prevailing winds to reduce the possibility of sparks landing on the roof.

To insure your stove pipe is above the ridge buy a stove with 8' of stove pipe or buy extra stove pipe.  Many stoves only have 6' 6" of pipe.  Both our Wilderness stove and Yukon stove have 8' of pipe and have the extra long 18" legs vs the 12" legs on other stoves.

    TESTIMONIALS

NOTE: It should be obvious my customers are my best advertising.

I am using my 12 x 14 Wilderness tent here in Arkansas. I took it deer hunting last fall in the Ouchita Mountains. When I was at camp a guy came by and looked at the tent. He wanted to know where I got it, he wanted one. The next day a game warden stopped and said he loved the tent and was going to get one also, so he too wrote down all the information on where to get it. You will be receiving several more orders from Arkansas. Thanks again for such a great solid warm tent.

Rich, thanks for explaining all the different features and options options available on the Wilderness Tent and Wilderness Stove.  Made buying the tent much easier once I knew what the hell I was doing. Thanks. Pete

Great tent.  Really impressed when I took the tent out of the box and examined it.  My boys and I can't wait to take it hunting.  Gilbert

I was really impressed by how helpful you guys were when I was buying my tent.  Being new to camping I really didn't know much, as you probably knew from my questions. Thanks for helping me select the best size tent and stove for my family.  Ken

Hello, I purchased a wilderness tent a while ago for this year's elk hunt.  Your tent is fantastic!  We headed out scouting a week before season opened.  While setting it up a storm blew in on the mountain we were hunting.  It blew and rained like the dickens, your tent stayed dry and toasty, most of all it stayed up.  What a tent!  Mathew

Rich, Thanks for a great tent. Will be purchasing an extended fly for it this coming year. Looking forward to doing business with you again. Your prompt service and knowledge is very much appreciated. Quality of product is excellent just like the service. Thanks again. Larry. Will send pictures later on.

I love the tent. I bought your wall tent for my grandchildren for a place to hang out. Great tent. Alan

Tyler, I know my order was very complicated. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything in great detail to me. Made my decision on what I needed much easier. I will get many years of hunting out of this outstanding tent. Gary

Tent worked out perfectly for us. We used it in Colorado and had 3 days at 30-65 mph winds. The tent didn't budge. Strong canvas tent coupled with the heavy duty rebar tent stakes you guys sell saved us. We love the tent. The cut list you provided for the frame fits like a glove. Thanks again. Dale

The tent set up easily. The angle kit is spectacular. The angle kit instructions made measuring the tent and cutting the steel conduit easy. The wilderness 4 stove is a charm. I set it up for curing and it works wonderfully. I am certainly looking forward to spending time in the woods now. Thanks again J.R.

    A Decent Fae Romance
    Format: Kindle
** 3.5 Stars rounded up to 4 ** First off I want to say that I found the author, J. D. Linton, on TikTok right before the release of the sequel. I bought the first 2 books to support her release, so congrats to her for the release of the sequel! Overall, I liked the story & plot, I liked the characters, and I liked the spice. The downfalls: not enough development between the characters for the romance, and it leaned a little heavy into the tropes. A lot of stuff is told to you, which could have been used as devices to drive the plot and emotions of the characters. 🛑🛑 Mild Spoilers ahead, I tried to hide the obvious ones 🛑🛑 This is very obviously a fated mates, which is a trope I usually really enjoy. But I wish the relationship between Ara & Rogue had much more development before it's realized that they're mates, instead of Rogue knowing almost immediately and using it for nefarious purposes (at least in the beginning before they get to know each other). By revealing this within the first quarter of the book, I feel like it leaves less room for them to fall for each other organically (albeit with help from the mating bond) and they love each other because of the mating bond. I was disappointed as soon as Rogue know (literally only 5% in) and I literally made a note: "As much as II love a good mating trope, I wish we had to work for it a little more. Where's the fun in just telling us?" I believe that by holding out and feeding the reader snippets of a potential bond, it would've been more rewarding as a reader. I also wish there was more world building - we are told of a war between human & fae but don't get to really experience any of it. Ara is sheltered in her human home, then sheltered in Rogue's castle. There's bits and pieces about what the war has done on either side - but we're more told of the aftermath and don't really experience any of it. Ara's father is supposed to be the king's #1 general - yet he is at home with his family & with Ara for the first couple chapters. Her, her family, nor her village seem to be affected by the 10 year war going on on their borders. I wish there was a little more setup to make this conflict - an actual war - feel more than a skirmish between fighting territories. Linton could also be a little repetitive - with the biggest culprit being when Ara is upset she "brings [her] knees to [her] chest]" and either sits like that or cries. Every time she is upset this phrase is mentioned. I would get it if this was her crutch, or how she copes with grief and stress, but that should be explained why she does it so often or it becomes repetitive. I started to get annoyed with how often she would sit like this solely because it happens every couple chapters. However, I did really like the spice. I love an enemies to lovers trope, especially when it results in spicy scenes. The spicy scenes weren't anything new, but they were fun. Wish there were more but that could also just be me - there is no such thing as too much spice 😂 Would I read again? Probably not, I'm super picky with rereads. Although I did genuinely enjoy my first read through! Will I continue the series? Probably, at least for the sequel. As for #3, kind of depends on where I am with my TBR once that is released All in all an enjoyable, fast paced read

    I love indie authors
    Format: Kindle
Let me preface this by saying—writing a book is HARD! Coming up with characters so real that they take on a life of their own, building an entire world, the political/magic system. Designing all of this is no easy feat. That being said. This book had so. Much. Potential. I was so excited to read this book, and I plan to finish it for the sake of finishing it. But. At this point, I would have set I’d aside as a DNF. The book could have benefited from some form of a developmental editor, or an in depth beta reader. I will say this. Within 5 chapters, there are so many… phrases that I’ve highlight that I’ve latched onto. Phrases about books and storms that were written BEAUTIFULLY! So, bravo Linton for hitting the nail on the head as to why readers disappear like they do! However, 5 chapters in and I can already guess where a majority of the story is going. But that’s also because I read like a mad-woman and have read this particular type of story, many different ways. Enemies to lovers where the FMC isn’t who she thinks she is. I am all about supporting indie authors. BUT. I also feel like criticism should be constructive, and not degrading. So if I could give this book a 4 1/2, strictly because I know the work the author put into this, I would. So if you’re looking for an easy read with characters that aren’t hard to follow, look no further! They are easy to love and easy to care for. One of the biggest issues they lacked, to me, was depth and plausible reactions to their situations. JD, you have done BEAUTIFULLY writing this book. I applaud and will continue to buy your books in the future. My BIGGEST recommendation is to definitely hire some form of an editor for any upcoming books. Or in turn, I will be happy to beta read for you. Should my opinion change of the book by the time I finish, I will happily get on here and say I was wrong, delete this review and post a different one. Until then…

this book set my soul ablaze! <3
    Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
"i had never really cared about the weather before, but now, clear skies meant everything to me, and i was grateful to see another calm morning." this book. this book! i loved the last storm so much. the writing style. the descriptions. the world-building. the characters. the plot twists. the tropes. the sexual tension. the—everything. everything was magic. the last storm follows our two main characters, ara and rogue, giving us dual POV from both characters (which i loved, btw). ara, a human girl who has been locked away in her father’s estate most of her life, just wants to see the world. all she dreams of is seeing what else is out there. but when her father announces her engagement, she knows that dream will become nothing more than just that—a dream. rogue, the fae king, is tired of the attacks being rained down on his people. in hopes of finding out the human king adon’s secrets, rogue infiltrates auryna’s borders. in his last resort to gain information, he visits the local pub. to his surprise, the general’s precious only child is sitting at the bar, drink round after round of mead. now he just needs to figure out how to take her without anyone noticing. first and foremost, let’s talk about the endless list of my favorite tropes and aspects that this book had. ›› enemies to lovers ›› fated mates ›› one bed ›› the chosen one ›› elemental magic ›› actually good and shocking plot twists!!! ›› badass female lead ›› morally-grey love interest ›› fae/human war ›› force proximity ›› touch her and die ›› who did this to you? ›› captor/captive ›› praise k!nk (panting profusely) “you are entirely the opposite of everything that i am, and i would gladly wear your shackles if it meant i could have you.” it’s been a long while since i read a book i liked this much. but i just loved this book. it set my soul ablaze. thank you to the author for writing this beautiful story and for blessing me with an eARC! i loved it so much that i immediately bought the paperback upon release! every aspect of this book was just beautiful. i was blown away by the way the world was described, the way feelings were portrayed, the way the elements were used in the fae’s magic. it just—AHHH! i just absolutely adored it all. i cannot wait for the second book to release next year! also the way he calls her “little storm” sets my heart on fire. this was a fast-paced read and if you are a lover of acotar, fbaa, deal with the elf king, or any other similar books, then please stop everything you’re doing and read this book right now. you won’t regret it. thank you again, jd linton, for giving me the privilege of reading your arc and for blessing this world with the world you created. <3 "something about him pulled me in, like a moth to a flame, and it felt as if i was just waiting for the inevitable burn that came with flying too close to the fire."

    Fun, both heartwarming and heartbreaking
    Format: Kindle
Only my second first person written selection, I am still getting used to that aspect, but unlike my first, I enjoyed that the story was told through both MCs. A great enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fated love etc, that resonated to me. There were some small twists that I could see coming, but also a few that I didn’t quite see until the characters were also seeing. Personally, I am more interested in the story than the spice, but with that said, it was well seasoned! I am kind of new to the spice world so I can’t say for sure how this would rate, but it definitely had some heat. I am very glad I happened across this author, and I do plan on also reading the next book….if nothing else, just to see for myself the “transformation” of the characters I’ve grown to love!

    😍😍 BEST DEBUT NOVEL EVER
    Format: Paperback
I’m having trouble finding accurate words to describe the way this book made me feel, but I am going to do my best. To start off with basic elements, the character and world building are phenomenal. I feel a strong bond to not only the two main characters, Ara and Rogue, but to each and every character introduced throughout the book. The author did a stellar job of giving each of them unique personhood. All of the scenes are beautifully described. So much so that throughout the entirety of the book, I could see every scene: the towns, the castles, the meadows, the landscape. I have had difficulty with this and with distinguishing between outlying characters while reading in the past, but I did not have to think to remember details of world or character building because they flowed naturally within the story and were described well. I have read book series before that made me want to be a part of that world, but I actually felt like I got to step into Auryna and Ravaryn! The plot twists!! Although this is not a suspense novel, it still had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I haven’t cried actual tears over a book since I was in high school (and I’ve read a LOT). This book finally broke the floodgates in the final few chapters. Multiple times. And we love a good cliffhanger. It truly made me FEEL. THE SPICE is a solid 3.5/5. Some of the scenes had me flushed, some had me taking notes, some just had my jaw slack and my mouth hanging open. Bravo, JD Linton, bravo. The relationships: friendships, family, romantic, ALL of the relationships in this book have so much meaning. The author does a great job at making you feel the love, the anger, the peace, the frustrations, the safety, the familiarity, etc. between the characters. Ara and Rogue. I can not say enough and I also do not want to say too much. Just know that I feel like I know them both, to their core. I know what their childhood looks likes, their darkest moments, their biggest fears, their dreams and passions, what they want in life… The POV switches were seamless. I am so happy this author decided to let us see from both sets of eyes. I can not wait for book two after that cliffhanger. And there is SO much potential for at least one prequel, I can’t wait to see where this author goes! I hope this series continues and flourishes. Fingers crossed!
